We use authentic MIRON biophotonic violet glass in all of our face care range (with the exception of our (Smoothing Minerals). Its unique properties filter light to both protect and revitalise our delicate natural ingredients, drastically extending their shelf life.

MIRON violetglass preserve and enhance the quality of our products, without using artificial preservatives.
Sunlight can have a degrading effect on a natural product, upon reaching maturity if the product continues to be exposed to full sunlight, there follows an acceleration of molecular decay. MIRON violetglass’ unique characteristics filter out these damaging rays of the visible light spectrum and allow portions of the UVA and infrared light waves in, keeping the products inside fresher for a longer period of time.
More specifically, MIRON Violetglass allows 25%-45% penetration of light in the range of 380-420 nanometers (violet and UVA-frequency), and about 60% penetration in the range of 730-1050 nanometers (Infrared frequency). These parts of the light spectrum seem to energise the organic molecules of the products stored within.
Protects the biophotonic activity of our ingredients
Biophotons are the light emitted by living tissue. 'Bio' in Greek means life and 'photon' means light. Our bodies absorb photons from sunlight through the eyes, skin and also through sunlight enriched nutrition. As natural products absorb solar energy, the increased level of photons is a great indication of the products’ vitality and quality.
Since many of today's products are processed, and often full of preservatives, they contain very little to no biophotons. These products do not contain energy levels beneficial to living cells. MIRON Violetglass also acts as a barrier, preventing the loss of biophotons from our product, making preservatives less necessary. MIRON violetglass is the only glass known which offers this important protection, assuring that smell, color, bioenergy and ingredient properties remain preserved longer. Tests have shown that products stored in MIRON Violetglass keep their distinctive qualities for extended periods of time.
ENERGETIC EFFECTS OF MIRON ~ HIGH FREQUENCY
The magnificent violet colour of MIRON violetglass is the result of a patented mix of mineral oxides and silica. Just as a magnet emits energy which – in a split second - organises needles to face the same direction, so the bioenergy of products in MIRON violetglass appear to be ordered in a more coherent and powerful way. While all colours create their own emotions and vibrations, violet creates a positive feeling of peace, harmony and well-being, as well as wisdom and creativity. In colour therapy, violet is the colour of the crown chakra, and connotes wisdom, honour and hope. In MIRON violetglass, a product’s taste, color, scent, as well as biophotonic energy are preserved better and are often enhanced when compared to other packaging materials.
ORIGIN OF MIRON
The appreciation of the special protective qualities of violet glass can be traced back to ancient Egyptian culture. In those times, valuable essences (oils) and natural healing products were kept either in gold or in violet glass vessels. In 1851, Jakob Lorber (Graz, 1800-1864, teacher, musician and mystic) described a method for creating sun healing remedies; sunlight photons absorbed into homeopathic globules. These delicate products had to be created -as well as stored- in dark violet glass dishes. According to Lorber, products stored in violet glass would be solar-enriched, and their energy preserved.
